Well, Valentine's day have been dusted. Those who are still cheating in their respective relationship with go back to doing their usual thing. This is why some people don't rate Valentine's day.
 
Valentine's is really low-key in our house. My husband and I don't really do anything, but we get some Valentine's sugar cookies for us and the kids, and they had a great time exchanging Valentine's at school too.

A good friend of mine broke up with her girlfriend this last valentine. He tried to surprise her by telling her he was going out of town but went to arrange a lovely dinner date with her..only to come back and caught his girl with another man in bed. It was a 2 years old relationship. He's practically broken now.

It was a day he will never forget in his life. I did my best trying to console him but the hurt was way too much. I'm just trying to get him not to sink into depression and alcohol.

Bonjour! Just checking in and saying hello - I hope people have had a good Easter break?

Not much to report here, we went to Blackpool for a few days last week and I finally conquered my childhood fear of this ride 💪
 
Nothing much new here, except my kids just started soccer recently. They've never played before but it's so cute to watch them.
 
Thats awesome! I used to do soccer in grade six. I remember it being tons of fun lmao
 
My grandma just passed away and while I was never super close to her, it's been really hard on my mom who was very close to her. I did get to see all of my siblings when we visited Idaho for the funeral though. We stayed at a hotel together and that's the first time we've all been together without kids or parents probably since we were growing up, so that aspect of it was actually really great.
