Chit Chat Thread

Getting loads of work done in the house atm so i've been shoved into our spare room for the time being while my own gets extended - its a PITA typing on such a little desk so i already can't wait to get moved back in lol
Gonna be class when its all done though, I'm gonna be getting a table built for my DJ decks to go so it'll be like having a little booth, but overall be great to just have them set up rather than needing to pull them out and hook them up again whenever i wanna use them

Hey all, hows it going?

Hope you're having a great October!

We've got Trunk or Treating here in our neighborhood tonight, and today is the last day of my kids' fall break before they go back to school on Monday. Fun stuff!

Hi all! Almost Friday, any plans for the weekend? :pika:
I don't have any plans for this weekend except for recovering from my illness. I have already resumed work but I'm not 100% yet. I was down for nearly 2 weeks from Malaria and typhoid fever.

Nothing big here, going to my father-in-law's house for dinner but we'll be home well before midnight. Might bring in the new year playing Pokémon Unite or Fae Farm with my sister online though.

Well, I usually go for medical check up every New Year. I was in the hospital yesterday and after some test, I was told that my blood pressure was slightly high. It was pegged at 137/85. I was shocked because that's the first time my blood pressure came that high.

2024 has been off to a rocky start, but - not to sound dramatic or anything - I've kind of stopped expecting any year to be better for us than the year before. We do our best, we get by, the year sucks, life goes on. So a rough start feels par for the course 😅

Facts! I have never seen any January that so smooth and easy going in the past 20 years. This is because most people spend a lot during the end of the year and when it comes to January, they all tend to just try and adjust to things.
