Kasumi Absence

Hello all, this is Kasumi.

I haven't been active for the past few months, but now I want to officially say that I'm not going to be around much on this forum.

I joined back almost 5 years ago, and I was majorly depressed at the time. It sounds weird, but randomly coming across this forum really picked me back up and brought me a lot of happiness.

As of 2026, my life has changed so much and my priorities are so different I won't be on Fortree that much, and it makes me sad. Thank you to the guys hanging on this server who made this possible @apathy , techno enjoyer and Fortree owner, @Chaos Black , the common travel guy, @ObsidNyko , the Canadian EPIC: The Musical enjoyer (do you still listen to that). We are all wildly different people but that has only made this experience a lot more fun for me. I'm already not active but I didn't want to just ghost you all out of nowhere.

I will always remember Fortree, even when I'm an old man.

i couldnt decide between reacting with "Love" or "Sad" because I'm of course delighted to hear you're in a better place than before but its always heartbreaking when life & friends move on.

But I'm also glad that Fortree was somewhere you could go to cheer yourself up, I think it was a great place for us to go during the pandemic and I've great memories talking arse with you & Poly, the Showdown games, and of course having to tolerate that that bitter old cow @Nurse Joy (who's definitely not Nyko).

Unfortunately the forum dwindled bit-by-bit once the lockdowns ended, until as you've no doubt noticed its just been me you & Nyko for a good while now.
But none of that can really be helped nor is it an attempt to try to convince you to change your mind, its just acknowledgement of the fact that this is probably where Fortree ends once and for all.
