Hoenn League Badges (Nintendo E-Shop Credits up for grabs) - COMPETITION

Hello, so we have an exciting new contest.

As you may know we have an awards system and the core awards are the Hoenn League Badges. On the forums to attain a new Hoenn League Badge as an award you need to reach a certain rank.
Whilst we have a shop and can have other awards that are not badges on your profiles the core rank system is the only way to obtain Hoenn League Badges on our forum.

I've attached an image with each badge rank and circled the post requirements for each new badge, you'll notice if you click into your profile you have a badge case where you can view you Hoenn League Badges plus any other awards you've won and/or purchased in a user members shop in the shopping section of the website. Please note you cannot buy or sell Hoenn League Badges on the website. You must meet the official post requirement for each new Hoenn League Badge.

I'm excited to announce that the first user to obtain their 7th badge (Mind Badge) will receive £/$/€ 15 Nintendo E-Shop Credit.
I'm also excited to announce that the first user to obtain their 8th Badge (Rain Badge) will receive £/$/€ 50 Nintendo E-Shop Credit.

There are only 2 prizes up for grabs as you can see, so get posting if you want to be the one to win these fabulous prizes! Just think of all the goodies you can purchase on the Nintendo E-Shop!



We reserve the right to disqualify anybody cheating, forms of cheating included but not limited to - Posting spam etc. Please stick to forum rules.

I'll supply an E-Shop code for the value of 15 in your local currency, if you are outside the EU, USA, Canada or UK I will look at E-Shop codes that are equivalent to £15 in your local currency. Same applies for the 50 E-shop credit.

That's really cool!

I like the contest but I am way too slow! I don't think I can surpass so many people who are already ahead of me. Still, I will keep trying my best to make the most of it. Don't we have any rules like no 5 word posts or something? I believe it will be a good idea to avoid 1-5 word posts :D

Our rules post is only about a sentence long, lol. I agree a limit should be brought in, if only for the contest. Ive seen a few posts that look a bit lazy. 5 characters seems fair, Ill try set that up now

I found a pretty elegant solution to this. From now on it takes 70 characters in a post for it to add to your post count. This mean people can still lazypost or post in the forum games (the other mods I found wouldn't let allow the Count to 1000 thread for example), they just cant cheese their way to winning the competition.
