Elon Musk has recently acquired Twitter. What does everyone think?

He seems to want to ban bots and introduce verification so it might change actually. Not sure how verification would work since a lot of people may leave but we'll have to wait and see I guess

Same here, I feel like he did this for money or attention rather than free speech on the platform.

I think it's better that he bought it. Twitter users will no longer be censored just because some politician says they should. I think we're about to see some serious free speech.

Now I'm waiting for him to unban Trump.

Ngl, I honestly still really don't care what happens with twitter if Elon Musk's bid goes through successfully. Nothing can save that website, at this point.

Seems like he might be struggling to buy it at the moment. He's pretending that Twitter has lied about the number of bots it has. I wonder if this is going to be another one of his pump and dumps.

It's been put off, for the moment. I believe the deal didn't go through yet. The crypto business is crashing, at the moment, which I don't know if that has to do with it.

The entire stock market is crashing which means the price he agreed on is absurd so I guess that is one of the reasons why as well

I'm honestly excited. I like memes and jokes and such and he's a person that posts them nonestop so hopefully it becomes more fun and not a cesspool of hate.

He will not be buying twitter. Also, a contract was breached, so now they're sueing him. I'm still neutral on all this, honestly, but uh... that's a big slipup if he didn't pay when backing out.

Twitter is a shithole anyway. Elon would have no impact on some of these crazed liberals, he would have to censor them for that which I doubt he would really do.

Elon is an attention seeker from my observations of his personality for years now. He just wanted attention from what happened that led to him trying to buy Twitter. Now, he's backed out of the deal. Well, I would want Twitter to win the case against him.
