Do you use hand sanitizer a lot?

Sometimes we need it.
But it can be avoided as well and that's how it should be. So what do you guys think?

My use of it has been insane during the pandemic, it was really bad at the start.

It got to a point where my hands were starting to swell a little and I was washing my hands too a lot and they became sore and cut.

I've heavily cut back now and would rather take my chances than do what could be long term irreversible damage to my hands.

I am really sorry to hear that. By limiting our activity outside, we can protect ourselves better.

Probably not as much as I should do.. I don't really like the feel of creams and chemicals on my hands, so tend to stick with soap and water.

That's a good thing as well.
I would recommend wet wipes usually as sanitizer could be a bit bad

I didn't really use it much pre-pandemic but I am using it a lot these days as my job has me going to people's houses.
It did bother me at the start, like @Oblivion Knight said I didnt like the feeling of chemicals on my hands but now I've gotten pretty used to it.

Yeah we humans can adapt to stuff pretty easily and over here, things are getting out of hand and we are getting 1000k cases daily and it's just horrible.
So we are taking extra precautions and I can't wait to see an end to this all

We used it quite a bit near the start and middle of the pandemic over here in the UK. But our use of hand sanitiser has slowly reduced recently. The stores around us still offer it at the entrance but I don't think many people use it anymore.

Usually people waste free stuff around here and they just don't get that someone will have to 'pay' for that item and it's not exactly free

Yes I use sanitizer quite often when I am not at home. In fact I carry it with me. It comes in useful when you have to travel a lot to different places as part of job. At home I use only soap and water instead of sanitizer.

Only when I go out I use hand sanitizer. But overuse of hands sanitizer is bad for the skin as well. It may not suit to all skins. Last year I used to use it frequently even at home, my hands became very dry and rough. Then I had to moisturize every day and it came back to normal now

I never cared about using hand sanitizers until the pandemic of corona virus. When the virus broke out, I had sanitizers at home, at work and in my bag too. If I touch anything, I'll use my sanitizer.

I never use it. Too many chemical and it dries out my hands. I just use soap. I used to use sanitizer when I had some reptiles but even then, I preferred to just wash my hands.
