How do you deal with silent treatment?

For me, personally, I'm fine with it. I prefer to just get my head down and get on with things, I'm not very sociable, but I know a lot of people are at work, so it can be difficult. The best thing to do is keep pushing forward and treat them with unflappable kindness. Act as though they're the nicest people on earth and their rudeness will not be a factor. It's hard, but it takes away their "power" over her.

I see.
Thank you for the reply. I will try to support her as well. Well, as much as I can....like some emotional support here.

Having that support will likely mean a great deal to her, to know someone supports her even when she feels no one else does.

That's true.
Everyone needs someone to make them feel at ease and to share their thoughts. Thank you so much Pgen

Definitely. Especially when in a situation like that, where she's likely feeling as though everyone else is against her. Just the knowledge that there's someone to talk to, to share with, it can mean a great deal to someone in tough times!

Some small companies does this a lot.
My friend wants to quit the company and now everyone is giving her a silent treatment and she is hurt by it.
I usually just choose to ignore people who treat me to silence. It is even good for my meditation and solitary practice. Your are not in control of how people treat you. But you are fully in control of how you react to how they treat you. So choose to ignore. He should not quit.

Silent treatment can be a nightmare.
Well it's way better than violence but still....it kinda breaks people if they are not strong enough....it's just my opinion

It's very difficult and insulting to be at the receiving end of the silent treatment. It's the time you will probably realize the selfish attitudes of your colleagues. But no need to be annoyed or worried or take matters to heart about it. Life has to move on. You just need to be your normal self and deal with your colleagues as you normally do. Simple as that.
